Drowned City

The Drowned City
Once the streets were lined with joy,
Now water claims the land.
The buildings, tall, a faded toy,
In oceans, they now stand.
The cries of those who called it home,
Are lost beneath the waves,
For nature’s wrath has staked its claim,
And filled the world with graves.
